During a 5 year partnership between Disney and Duracell I was the Global creative lead. Working closely with the Disney franchise and their creators, I produced TVC’s, In-store, digital and OOH to support the new film releases.
In 2010 I was asked to be the lead creative at Euro RSCG on the Conservative Party’s General Election Campaign. Working 24/7 for 4 weeks in the run up to the big day, instantly reacting to media debates, media coverage and the general throng during election time.
For the battery that has always positioned itself as ‘longer-lasting’ a fresh approach to this proposition was needed. This campaign was based around the simple insight that the toys and gadgets you use may change as you grow up, but with Duracell your batteries will remain unchanged.
Brand postioning, naming and visual identity for a new Comms agency based in Cambridge & London. The agency wanted to break free from the standard agency model and project a more organic and flexible offering to clients.
The Tidy Man starred in this multi-award winning campaign. Adopting a more humorous approach to try and encourage a younger audience to use a bin and Keep Britain Tidy.
What better way to promote The Vegetarian Society than getting some of the victims of the meat-eaters to speak out. In a thought provoking campaign, cows located near busy ‘A’ roads were emblazoned with messages trying to convince the public to consider vegetarianism.
For the Queen’s Jubilee a number of potential new designs were created and posted on social media, where people could vote for their favourite. The chosen design was then produced and appeared on limited edition bottles and packs. The social campaign was supported with an ad campaign showcasing the new design.
Kids’ batteries go on and on, but when they come up against a Duracell powered Bunny there’s only going to be one winner. Uber simple ads that just featured the brand mascot powering on whilst their kid owners catch some zzzz’s. The ads picked up a Cannes shorlist.
I have taken up life drawing, something that I dabbled in at Art College many moons ago. Still trying to get those proportions right!
